MAY 12, 2012 Science Rendezvous is a FREE, annual, science festival taking place Saturday May 12, 2012 at public venues, universities and research institutes across Canada. It is designed to give people of all ages a chance to experience science and technology research through a variety of hands-on and interactive activities. The Faculty of Science and Engineering, and our partners, invite everyone - from kids to grandparents - to discover the fun of science on May 12, 2012. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you are a graduate student in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, dynamic and outgoing, enjoys working with the public, enjoys showing children the wonders of science and would like to help out, please email Ruth Milton at rmilton@yorku.ca to register. Science Rendezvous is from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm in two different locations - Main Street, Markham or Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto. (Please specify which site you would like to volunteer at!)
