At York University, interdisciplinary research and dynamic academic engagement are at the core of our approach to Graduate Studies. York is committed to making your education a meaningful and rewarding experience.
Faculty members, no matter which Department they officially belong to, whose research interests include fields spanned by a particular graduate program, may serve as research supervisors for students in that program. The graduate programs cover the main disciplines of biology, chemistry, geography, mathematics and statistics, physics, astronomy, and science and technology studies. Within those broad disciplines faculty research interests are eclectic but with broad groupings such as high energy physics, atmospheric chemistry, functional analysis, molecular and cellular biology, to name just a few.
In addition to graduate programs within the Faculty of Science the Lassonde School of Engineering also offers graduate programs in computer science and earth and atmospheric science
