York Science Professor Sergey Krylov receives over $717,000 from NSERC
Sergey Krylov, a professor in the Department of Chemistry at York University has received over $717,000 from NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada) to fund his project in streamlining the process for SSCM (small-scale chemical manufacturing). This is used for the production of pharmaceuticals, research and so forth.
Researchers work with companies on projects that will generate new knowledge and technology with the potential to strengthen Canada’s industrial base. $38,000,000 is being awarded to 78 scientific teams at universities across the country. This provides excellent opportunities for researchers to work with organizations on projects that improves the quality of life for Canadians.
