York to host 46th Inorganic Discussion Weekend commencing Friday, Nov. 8
The Department of Chemistry at York University is set to host the 46th Annual Inorganic Discussion Weekend (IDW). The event kicks off on Friday, Nov. 8 and will conclude Sunday, Nov. 10.
The program will feature an array of oral presentations, lectures and poster sessions regarding topics of inorganic chemistry. It will conclude with an awards ceremony on Sunday. There will also be a mixer and registration session held on Friday evening. Venues for the event include the Lassonde Building, Accolade East Building, the Student Centre and the Schulich Executive Dining Room. More than 200 guests are expected, including the 2005 Nobel Prize Laureate in chemistry, Professor Richard R. Schrock of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
