The Faculty of Science recognizes the importance of undergraduate research. Students are encouraged to seek research opportunities through thesis project courses in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry and Physics & Astronomy, research practica, and summer research programs to gain valuable experience and knowledge in scientific inquiry. Students should contact potential supervisors directly.
NSERC Undergraduate Summer Research Award (NSERC USRA)
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada provides summer awards to highly qualified undergraduate students to conduct research with NSERC-funded York faculty. Research at York (RAY)
